Automatic Tool Change Electric Spindles
The GC automatic tool change electric spindles are designed for applications on machine tools working wood, plastic, aluminium, light alloys, steel, glass and marble. In particular, the RA series, with liquid cooling, is suitable for applications with severe workloads and, therefore, mainly used for working steel, marble and aluminium, as well as plastic and wood.
The wide range of powers, from 0.3 kW up to 35 kW, with rotating speeds up to 40,000 rpm, allows a versatility of use that covers every type of working.
Manual Tool Change Electric Spindles
The GC manual tool change electric spindles are designed for applications on machine tools working wood, plastic, aluminium, light alloys, glass and marble and they are suitable for milling, drilling, edging and squaring processes.
The wide range of powers, from 0.1 kW to 30 kW, with rotation speeds up to 60,000 rpm, allow a versatility of use that covers any type of machining, both with axial and radial loads.
The GC bi-rotative heads represent the latest synthesis between innovation and technology, with the possibility of choosing between single-shoulder and double-shoulder structures. The heads are made in the advantageous configuration with 5° inclined rotating axis or in the traditional configuration with 5° horizontal rotating axis, in both cases with or without static stiffening brakes on the 4° and 5° axes.
The GC multi-spindle units are the result of the connection of two or more electric spindles with even different electrical and mechanical features suitable for solving space problems in 3 and 5-axis working machine tools. The versatility given by the possibility of using different tools (for roughing and finishing) assures a wide application field on wood working, plastic and light alloys machining.
